Nero d'Avola is Sicily's most important grape variety – aromatic, robust, and charming. This is a friendly, fruity Nero d'Avola. It's similar to Primitivo, but with slightly more acidity (though still subtle and well-integrated) and somewhat fresher fruit aromas. Not particularly complex, it's definitely a good, full-bodied, and low-tannin alternative. Produced by TheWinePeople (Mattia Giacomelli & Stefano Chioccioli). Nero d'Avola typically displays dark cherry, plum, and spice notes, combined with the warmth and generosity of the Sicilian sun.
